Authentic conversation is a powerful tool for healing.

Compassionate support for gentle healing
and personal growth.

In every session, my goal is for you to feel heard, cared for, and safe to say what you need. I want you to be gently challenged, to learn effective new skills and tools, and to experience real hope as you grow and heal. I will seek to understand and provide a calm space where we can work toward your established goals together.
I’m Megan Neal, and I am a real person. I’m in my late 40s and have experienced many of life’s challenges, pains, and blessings—including divorce, parenting babies, teens, and adult children, loss, remarriage, blending a family, caring for aging parents, and navigating a faith journey. I value support, resources, trusted relationships, and, most importantly, God’s presence. Life was never meant to be easy, nor was it meant to be navigated alone.
Psalm 16:7-8 I will praise the LORD who counsels me...I keep the LORD in mind always. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

During our first session, I will review your completed paperwork with you and listen—in your own words—to what your counseling needs are. We will discuss my therapeutic approach and how it applies to what you need, talk through any symptoms you may be experiencing, and set therapeutic goals so that you leave feeling hopeful with a solid plan
I work with adult and teen female clients who are seeking support with grief, depression, anxiety, attachment wounds, trauma, spiritual pain, purity culture, blended families, divorce, life adjustments, boundaries, conflict resolution, fertility and infant loss, and more.
I am certified in Brainspotting and HRV (heart rate variability) biofeedback somatic work. I incorporate CBT, EFT, Gottman, Narrative Exposure Therapy and Biblical counseling at request. I am also a Prepare and Enrich facilitator for premarital couples.

Because you are created as a whole person—mind, body, and spirit—my counseling approach incorporates steps to understand how each part of you is experiencing symptoms. Each client has the included option of creating a personalized self-care plan and heart rate/nervous system monitoring and breath work through the HeartMath system. At your request, I am also happy to discuss your care plan with your physician.
All options include digital access to the scheduling calendar app, covered credit card transaction fees, optional custom self-care plan and optional access to the in-session somatic breath work monitoring system.
1. In-Person and Virtual Sessions
50-minute sessions at $135
2. Mini Intensives
This option is appropriate for clients who wish to process trauma in a more concentrated period of time rather than spread out over weeks or months. I require at least two regular-rate intake sessions beforehand to gather enough information to plan a custom mini intensive.
3. Intensives
This option is designed for clients with complex trauma or scheduling restrictions who prefer to work in a concentrated format rather than over weeks or months. I require at least two regular-rate intake sessions beforehand to gather enough information to plan a custom intensive.

I received my Masters in Christian Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I practice under my TN Board temporary license under supervision.
"When I came to see Megan for the first time, I was consumed by grief, anger, and confusion. I had no idea how to get out of the mindset that losing my son had placed be in. Megan was able to crack open all that I had held in. She was consistent, calm, caring, and challenging. She brought me to a safe place to share and heal. She pointed everything back to Jesus, and reminded me Who held me, Who saw me, and Who could really heal me. I will forever be thankful for the time, effort, and empathy Megan gave. Because of her and Jesus, I'm healing. I would recommend her (and have to like 10 people so far lol) to anyone who has experienced loss!" - Kristen
"When I talk to Mrs. Megan, I feel happy. She helps me work out problems." -Hannah age 9
"When I talk with Mrs Megan, I feel known. I know that she understands my family dynamics and that is assuring." -Joshua age 11
